Frashokereti is a Zoroastrian term for the final renovation or “making wonderful” of creation. In later systematized sources, evil is defeated, the dead are raised, creation is purified, and the material world is restored rather than abandoned.
Boundary: The antiquity and development of specific details must be assessed by distinguishing early Avestan horizons from much later surviving manuscripts and Pahlavi redactions.
Why is a manuscript date not the same as a composition date?
A composition date concerns when a work or textual layer was produced; a manuscript date concerns the physical copy that survives. A late manuscript can preserve older material, but the gap must be shown rather than assumed through language, quotations, textual relationships, archaeology, and transmission history.
Boundary: Neither an old idea in a late copy nor an early fragment by itself proves the date of an entire final form.
Christ.cx links to official editions and manuscript providers. This release contains no copied facsimile images, scraped witness databases, or proprietary critical apparatus pages. Provider, publisher, and holding-institution terms remain controlling.
A critical edition is an editorial reconstruction; a manuscript platform presents witnesses or metadata; a translation is neither of those. Each record states its proper use and limitations.

Daniel 9:25
Daniel 9:25: segmentation of the seven and sixty-two weeks
Hebrew consonants do not supply modern punctuation. Editions and translations differ over whether the seven weeks and sixty-two weeks form one uninterrupted period before an anointed figure or two syntactically distinct periods.
Combined sequence
Seven weeks plus sixty-two weeks lead to an anointed ruler.
Divided sequence
An anointed ruler appears after seven weeks, followed by sixty-two weeks of rebuilding and trouble.
Versional evidence
Ancient translations and modern critical punctuation contribute to the debate but do not remove all ambiguity.
Why it matters
Chronological systems should disclose their punctuation and syntactic assumptions rather than presenting one English layout as the unmarked Hebrew text.
What it does not establish
Punctuation alone does not identify the anointed figure or settle the historical horizon.
Witness note: This is a textual-segmentation and translation case rather than a claim that one manuscript contains modern punctuation marks.
