Frashokereti is a Zoroastrian term for the final renovation or “making wonderful” of creation. In later systematized sources, evil is defeated, the dead are raised, creation is purified, and the material world is restored rather than abandoned.
Boundary: The antiquity and development of specific details must be assessed by distinguishing early Avestan horizons from much later surviving manuscripts and Pahlavi redactions.
